Not eating, but gorging on information ceaselessly spewed from the screens and speakers we hold dear. Just as we have grown morbidly obese on sugar, fat, and flour- so, too, have we become gluttons for texts, instant messages, emails, RSS Feeds, downloads, videos, status updates, and tweets.We are all battling a storm of distractions, buffeted with notifications and tempted by tasty tidbits of information. Technology is changing the way we learn, but that doesn't have to be a bad thing. However, spending too much time using technology can significantly alter your ability to connect with the human world. There needs to be a balance, don't you agree?

I think we are depending too much on technology that we aren't able to do things on paper or in our head anymore. Yes i agree Technology can be a good thing but i think that since we use it so much that its turning our brain to mush.

I agree that there needs to be a balance between technology and the human world. The article also mentioned that kids are not doing as well with critical thinking and analysis. If kids don't know something, they can look it up online. This can be good or bad, but it is hindering kids from thinking on their own.

This is a crucial area that can sometimes get overlooked or exaggerated when implementing technological innovations. It is imperative that teachers address it throughout school.
