(From the article): Give up control. Control is an illusion. We live in an out of control world. Learn to embrace the new and welcome change; otherwise you'll grow old through your own rigidity. Learn to let go.

eli's curator insight, April 22, 3:39 AM

type of content: article

this article brings a couple of very important changes we should make our lifes in order to be happier' for example:

1. Give up caring what other people think of you. I know it seems counter intuitive as we humans are primal pack animals that don't want to be cast from the village, but spending time worrying what others think, is a waste of energy. You'll never please everyone and it's none of your business what others think of you.

Brilliant!!!

Dear Lego company,

My name is Charlotte. I am 7 years old and I love legos but I don't like that there are more lego boy people and barely any lego girls. today I went to a store and saw legos in two sections the girls pink and the boys blue. All the girls did was sit at home, go to the beach, and shop, and they had no jobs but the boys went on adventures, worked, saved people, and had jobs, even swam with sharks. I want you to make more lego girl people and let them go on adventures and have fun ok!?!

Thank you.

Trisha Proud's comment, September 5, 2013 9:53 AM
I have always advocated “balance” in all things and there can be no better place to practice this than within the male - female leadership mix. All businesses should have a good balance of male and female executives……why?......Because the old saying of “Men from Mars and women from Venus” is true……both genders are good at certain things; so why wouldn’t businesses want to have a balanced diversity of key management attributes in their business.
