I think my favorite on this list - someone I'd had the chance to Twitterchat with before - is Ted Rubin. Overall, it's a great list, Rubin just stands out as I love his take on relationship building.

Maximize Your Exposure on Twitter: 4 Tips for Solution Providers | Business 2 Community

Maximize Your Exposure on Twitter: 4 Tips for Solution Providers | Business 2 Community | BraandLife | Scoop.it

It’s no secret that Twitter is a medium that most small businesses and nonprofits should at least dip their toe in. But what about Solution Providers? You may be using Twitter for your clients, but do you use it for yourself?

If you don’t, now’s the time to start. Constant Contact recently blogged about a new report from Optify that shows, for B2B small businesses, Twitter is the most effective social network when it comes to generating new leads. Twitter accounted for 82% of all social media-originated leads. Sounds to me like it’s about time you take a look at this lead generating site! There are plenty of ways to begin to grow your presence and your client base.

Ana Cristina Pratas's curator insight, March 15, 2013 6:33 AM

Distance learning is progressively becoming a conventional method of education. With more universities partnering with massive open online course programs, distance education is the future. The challenge lies in making distance learning a worthwhile personal experience while maintaining the convenience and instantaneous connectivity of the Web.

In the article, "Why Online Education Needs to Get Social", Marco Masoni writes: “Education is the second largest industry in America behind health care, and it too is experiencing a similar shift as it struggles to adapt traditional design and delivery models to the demands of modern audiences who are accustomed to digital interactivity. The challenge to transition successfully is especially pressing for online higher education.”

Social media allows for much more than collecting donations; savvy non-profits are also using social channels to attract new supporters, raise awareness around issues, and put pressure on politicians and corporations. Here are three examples of non-profits that use social media successfully to further their cause…

Social Media Tools That Support Google+: Solutions for Small Business

Social Media Tools That Support Google+: Solutions for Small Business | BraandLife | Scoop.it

Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn can be found in the majority of social media management apps. It is with Google+ that things get a little bit more complicated: very few social media tools support it due to some technical challenges.

However, most social media managers would prefer a solution that would allow them posting to all social networks in one place, Google+ including.

In this post, you’ll find reference to all tools that are to date integrated with Google+. We’ll bring small business editions to a special focus and review social tools that (1) support Google+ and (2) the ones you can use for free or under $10 a month.
