I, personally, am a visual learner (and rememberer). Don't tell me directions to your house, please draw them. Don't read out loud to me fast, show me or let me look at the text while you are reading... ~Susan Gingras Fitzell

 

Using visuals can be a very effective strategy to use in the classroom when students are learning vocabulary words and concepts that are new to them.
