Bloom’s Revised Digital Taxonomy Wheel & the Knowledge Dimension | Eductechalogy | Bloom's Taxonomy for 21st Century Learning | Scoop.it

I have produced an interactive Bloom’s revised digital taxonomy wheel and the almost overlapping knowledge Dimensions. Bloom’s taxonomy has been used extensively in the education sector. The 2001 update of Bloom’s taxonomy for the 21century  is depicted in this interactive wheel. Almost overlapping, are the four knowledge domains.

I am interested and would like to be able to study the wheel, but the background colors are so light they are difficult to read.

This page gathers all of the Bloomin' Apps projects in one place!

Each of the images has clickable hotspots and includes suggestions for
iPad, Google, Android, and Web 2.0 applications
to support each of the levels of Bloom's Revised Taxonomy.

The use of the triangle shape for Bloomin' apps projects was not used
to help clear up the misunderstanding that the levels are hierarchical and
the top levels only make up a tiny portion of the cognitive processes.

This is an update to Bloom's Revised Taxonomy which attempts to account for the new behaviours and actions emerging as technology advances and becomes more ubiquitous. Bloom's Revised Taxonomy describes many traditional classroom practices, behaviours and actions, but does not account for the new processes and actions associated with Web 2.0 technologies, infowhelm (the exponential growth in information), increasing ubiquitous personal technologies or cloud computing.

This is a much better trajectory for the elements in the taxonomy. Creativity is both the pinnacle of what we do and at the heart of what we do.

Flipping Blooms Taxonomy | Powerful Learning Practice | Bloom's Taxonomy for 21st Century Learning | Scoop.it

In media studies we often look at the creation of print and digital advertisements. Traditionally, students learn many of the foundational principles for creating a layout through a lecture or text book reading, and then eventually create their own.

Suena provocador comenzar por la creación y la creatividad en lugar de comenzar con la memorización de información.
