My Thoughts: This website describes the upper body, arms, lower body, and abdomen and which types of exercises work them. This will help me on planning different target workouts for my legs, arms, and core. This website stresses the difference between compound and isolated exercise movements which can be hard to understand, so it helps by explaining them and giving examples for each part of the body. I can incorporate these compound and isolated exercise movements in my workout log.

This website is important because it provides pre and post workout snack or meal instructions for morning exercise, midday exercise, or evening exercise, so I can refer to this article depending on when I fit in a workout.

My Thoughts: Blogliates is run by Cassey Ho, a pilates instructor that started her career over youtube and has gotten quite popular. I've always loved her instructional videos because they are always so clear and actually really fun to do with her! Unfortunately though, I have never had enough time to set time aside to do her videos religiously. Since I have helpful resources now on scoop.it to create a workout log, I can plan to have her videos incorporated. I will use her videos to make a plan which integrates separate workouts to focus on three parts of my body: my legs, abs, and arms/upper body.

My Thoughts: This article is important because it gives me a step by step procedure on how to create a detailed workout log, which plans my workouts to keep me on track. A lot of the time, when we don't plan something and make it "concrete", we don't go through with it and this project needs to get done, meaning, I need to get my workouts and reflections done. I can't do my activity log or research log if I haven't done the core of my project - exercising. This webstie will help me create a workout log that I can customize to help me stay loyal to my workout progam.

Modifying a Recipe to be Healthier

My Thoughts: I did find this on the web, and I am extremely glad I did. As a part of my blog, I will be creating and coming up with healthy recipes for my readers to try. This "conversion" sheet between healthy and better ingredients will help me in making my recipes. It's two headings, "Instead of this:" and "Try using this:" will help me learn healthier food alternatives of ingredients I'm already familiar with. It's very important because I will also be able to print it out and keep it hanging up for quick reference. The ingredients may even influence my creativity skills; since we all know that some original foods taste way better than their healthier alternatives, I'll be able to add my own twist to accomodate my taste buds!

My Thoughts: This website gives about 20 different, quick instructional videos on how to do cetain leg exercises, such as different types of squats, step ups, and lunges. It's valuable because it can actually show it's readers/viewers how to keep their form right, which is essentiel to avoiding injuries. i can use these movements in my target area workouts for my legs, and will come in handy for reference and planning.

My Thoughts: Since the project timeframe is aimed toward 30 days, I have decided to do Jillian Michael's 30-day shred workout program. It consists of 30 minutes everyday of her 3-2-1 weight training, cardio, and abs circuit. This website will help me plan on what to do before and after I begin the workout program, and also gives me tips on how to keep myself safe and injury free during the workouts, which is essential if I want to finish the program and my project.

My Thoughts: This website is valuable because it gives me a nice long list of free blog host websites that I can choose from to create my blog on! Being completely clueless beforehand how to even go about creating a blog, I had no idea that there are so many blogging websites. I can't start to create a blog if I don't know which websites provide that for me so  this website comes in handy. Many I have heard of, such as wordpress or blogger. I've heard of tumblr the most and it also seems to be the one I am most familiar with it, so I would be surprised if I didn't choose to use tumblr. But there are many to choose from. This website allows me to look up different blogs from those host sites and check out their layouts/overall design and aura of the bloghost itself. I can then choose which I want to use depending on which will fit my theme.

My Thoughts: The first step toward creating a blog is coming up with a fitting name. This is a very important and helpful website for me because it will definitely instigate my blog project by getting me started. It's the base. It will also hopefully inspire me to come up with many ideas based on it's information on how to create a successful name by using keywords, terms, topic relations, and meanings. There are no specific guidelines on the webpage, which allows it's reader to be creative yet still be aware of elements that will aid in the naming process.
