8 Needs For Project-Based Learning In The 21st Century

8 Needs For Project-Based Learning In The 21st Century | Blended Learning | Scoop.it

"We tend to think of project-based learning as focused on research, planning problem-solving, authenticity, and inquiry. Its popularity comes from, among other characteristics, its general flexibility as a curriculum framework. You can do, teach, assess, and connect almost anything within the context of a well-designed project."

I like the first point: noise is good. This does not mean out of control and chaotic noise where it is bedlam. It is self-organizing noise and sometimes only appears as a steady hum and other times it is pretty loud.

Make E-learning Easier: eLearners’ Brain Pain

Make E-learning Easier: eLearners’ Brain Pain | Blended Learning | Scoop.it

"How Can We Apply Cognitive Load Theory To Our Instructional Designs So That Learning In Not Too Hard?

How Technology Enables Blended Learning

How Technology Enables Blended Learning | Blended Learning | Scoop.it

Wanting to modernize education across all 13 K–12 schools, Cary Matsuoka and Chin Song — the Silicon Valley district's recently hired superintendent and chief technology officer, respectively — asked staff at each school the following question in March 2012: If you could design a school of the future, what would it look like?"
