The International Association of School Librarianship conducts a conference every year. They are held in a different location each year.
This year the conference will be held from the 26th to the 30th of August in Bali, Indonesia. This is close for us!
Meeting colleagues from around the world, listening to a range of speakers and participating in our wider school librarianship community is a valuable experience.
Why not attend and/or submit a proposal to present. The Call for Papers announcement is available at http://iasl2013.org/call-for-papers-information/ and the closing date for submission of proposals is 15 February 2013 (They may extend this if you are keen and need a few more days).
We have so many valuable programs etc occuring in Victoria and Queensland and it would be great to see a few highlighted at this international level.
