Once let the black man get upon his person the brass letter, U.S., let him get an eagle on his button, and a musket on his shoulder and bullets in his pocket, there is no power on earth that can deny that he has earned the right to citizenship.

Obama on Health Care

Obama on Health Care | black history month | Scoop.it

Through the Affordable Care Act, President Obama has taken action to make health care more affordable for families and protect consumers from insurance company abuses. I support Obama on this because healthcare is crucial to society. No one should go broke, just because they get sick.

On the contrary, Mitt Romney would end guaranteed benefits and turn Medicare into a voucher program, which will end up in senior citizens spending thousands more on health insurance.
