BeGlobal’s open API is what allows the integration, and support for encrypted internet protocols makes it viable for global firms that target diverse audiences with their products. The deal-breaking factor, however, is the effectiveness of the translation engine, which SDL did not disclose: flexibility and security are not worth anything if a solution can’t deliver the goods.
