Project Based Learning with iPads - IPAD 4 SCHOOLS

Project Based Learning with iPads - IPAD 4 SCHOOLS | Better teaching, more learning | Scoop.it
"Project-based learning is not ‘doing projects’. PBL is student-driven and specifically open to interpretation to ensure students learn through carrying out a project and not doing a project pre-designed by the teacher. They are driven to answer a ‘big’ question and carry out their inquiry and design in teams. They are also under pressure to present their results to a third party of some kind. The students decide on how to achieve the goals and are not carrying out teacher-designed tasks."

Ana Cristina Pratas's curator insight, October 7, 2013 11:07 PM

"MOOCs face a storm of opposition that underestimates their challenge to traditional education. Given their popularity, why are there so many myths about MOOCsfloating around? Debunking the myths about MOOCs leaves us free to challenge our assumptions — and our imaginative possibilities — by questioning the seeming inevitability of educational orthodoxy."

A few good counter-points to the counter-MOOC movement.
