Creative Koas, the documentary about the making of Kurse a di Xtabai, was shown Friday night at the Soul Project. The directors of both movies, Daniel Velazquez and Matthiew Klink, were there to answer questions from all the film students from New Mexico State University, who are in Cayo doing their own documentaries. Creative Kaos was as great as its name implies. Delete the scoop?

The Chaa Creek Eco Kid essay competition has begun. Nazeem Ahmad has written this one. Kids have unitl June 14th to send in their essay about why they want to be an Eco Kid. Winners get a scholarship to the Summer Kids camp.

Ascenthium really rocked the Cancha Marshalleck in Benque Friday night. It had been way too long since they'd played in Cayo, but they made up for it. They had a great laser light show, thanks to DJ Caesar, to go with the rocking rythym. Guido had a wicked drum solo, and thankfully they were coaxed into performing an incredible encore too. Can't wait for them to come back. Great show, Ascenthium!

Cayo's Crystal Cave, also known as Mountain Cow Cave, had a great article written about it lately. Great way to put it: Actun Tunichil Muknal is for tourists, Mountain Cow is for adventurers. Both are great ways to spend the day.

Creative Kaos, the documentary of the making of Kurse a di Xtabai, will have it's first showing this evening at the Soul Project. Don't miss this special screening. Rick Galvez, who did some of the songs in the movie, will play a few songs after the movie. They'll then have the normal Friday night open mic.

Belize was listed first on the list of Best Wildlife Travel Adventures. Of course, due to Cayo, where the wildlife is. The picture is of the Twin Falls, taken from La Capitana pontoon boat on Lake Benque.
