Kyser is best known for their amazing capo. (That's the capo I use.)  This past May they introduced a guitar strap that has a built-in capo holder.  Since this is so new to the market, it's likely the guitar player in your life doesn't have this strap. Great gift idea.....

The SpeedPro guitar tuner is among the best I've used. Before I step on stage I like to warm up. I've found this tuner to be especially useful for making sure I have an in-tune guitar after my warm ups before gigs. The display is very easy to read in dark clubs/bars. It assures me I can rest easy while plugging in to play. This is a great product.
James Tabron's comment, September 7, 2013 6:46 PM
I use the SpeedPro. It's lasted longer than the cheap tuner I had before. It's beefy; solid. Works great.
James Tabron's curator insight, September 7, 2013 6:47 PM

This is a great testiment to quality of this guitar clip on tuner.

NAMM 2013: Hayden Introduce New Dr. Green Guitar FX Pedals | iGuitar | Best Gift For Musician | Scoop.it
Amp builders Hayden has expanded on it's range with the introduction of the Dr. Green line of guitar FX pedals including fuzz, distortion, boost, delay, and compression effects.
Matt Miller's insight:

Effects pedals make great gifts for guitar and bass players. Check out which pedals they already have so you don't buy the same pedal they already have. And when you're looking at your musician's pedals, also check out the brand. If they're all the same brand, your musician is likely brand loyal so you'll want to get the same brand.  Dr.Green is just one brand in your choice of pedals.
