A well researched, very original, and very addicting book! I couldn't get enough of The Age of Miracles by Karen Thompson Walker.
Despite the book revolving around a young girl entering womanhood, this book is not for preteens. It is very well written and I found the concept of the world's orbit slowing down a bit farfetched at first, but the way it was written made it incredibly believable!
Overall this is definitely a must read for the summer and belongs up on the Best Books of 2012 list! Delete the scoop?

Has anyone else read 11/22/63 by Stephen King? It is definitely one of the best books of 2012 and really showcases his finesse and skill with writing. He seemlessly integrates a time portal and has the main character traveling back and forth in time without making it seem so farfetched or disjointed! Absolutely loved this book! Delete the scoop?

When it comes to the Best Books of 2012 The Awakened by jason Tesar definitely deservs a spot on near the top! This book is a great science fiction that follows several characters as they are on a strange and difficult journey. Overall I found the book completely believable, well researched and thought out, and definitely a must read for anyone! Delete the scoop?
