This article presents studies from the medical community, regarding the dangerous effects of large amounts of alcohol, even if taken infrequently, has on the body. This relates to how in class we have looked at the dangers of binge drinking. I think that this article shows just how careful people need to be when regulating their alcohol intake.

This article is about instilling a healthy body image in teens. It relates to the what we have been discussing in class in that it relates to how we should have a healthy body image, and not be too critical of ourselves based on our appearance. I agree with the idea that people should not be too critical of themselves and their appearance, as it is impossible for anyone to be truly perfect.

This article is about a mobile van driving around Queensland offering HIV Tests. This relates to the topic of STIs we covered in class. The  part that most caught my eye is "HIV infection rates in Queensland almost doubled over the last decade and this year rates may have increased by as much as 30 per cent."

This is a good sign for youth culture as a whole, if this trend is definitive. The part where a 16 year old says that "Yeah, I believe the campaigns have worked for anti-drinking " makes me think that there should be even more anti-drinking ad campaigns to reduce the numbers even further.
