5 Weight-lifting Myths | Men's Health

5 Weight-lifting Myths | Men's Health | Beginner Lifting | Scoop.it

Separate fact from fiction and accelerate your gains (5 Weight-lifting Myths | Men's Health: http://t.co/cCq2Ysc2...)...

My thoughts

I was shocked by the 1st myth on account of the fact I always believed doing excercises the way their intended was the best results but this article exposed this myth explaining how cheating can actually help boost your gains! I've also learned new information from this article such as flat barbell benching with varying speed can fatigue me. I guess I need to learn how to keep a steady, quick, and explosive pace. Either than that, I wasn't shocked about the other myths on account of the fact I have learned this before reading the article.

Weight Lifting Supplements - The Best Supplements For Gaining Muscle Mass

Weight Lifting Supplements - The Best Supplements For Gaining Muscle Mass | Beginner Lifting | Scoop.it

What are the best weight lifting supplements that will help you build muscle and strength? Here are the 5 best supplements that will help you tear it up in the gym.

My thoughts

I have been using 3 of these" best supplements" myself and I'll have to agree with this article. I began using Creatine, Whey Protein, and Multi-Vitamins for muscle devolopements and I've noticed strength gains and muscle gains from day 1 to present. I have noticed a 20lb bench increase on my 1RM (1 Rep Max) and I've been able to work harder at the gym by doing more repetitions and sets that I could do before.I was unaware of the effects of Glutamine and the essential fatty acids I need for strength and muscle development. I'll be sure to try those out as well as research the products I buy before I buy them. According to this article, many supplement sellers do more marketing then they do researching with their products. So, I'll be sure to check reviews on my products to be sure it's the best for me.

Strength Training 101 – Weight Lifting develops muscle and strength ... | Beginner Lifting | Scoop.it

Weight lifting is one of the ways that you could try to get in better shape. It could be fun, satisfying and time-efficient depending on how you see it. One thing is sure; you will get a lot of health benefits if you are into weight lifting ...

My thoughts

All the reasons stated in this article I have to agree with. I begain weight-lifting myself on account of the fact I wanted to make my daily activities easier, burn fat and lower my BMI, and of course get stronger and increased aesthetic improvement. I agree that it's important to perfect the form of a workout before you increase weight on account of the fact you don't want to increase weight working out the wrong muscle areas. This article gives tips on how to gain muscle mass such as increasing your protein intake and consistently working out, just not 1-2 days a week. I believe all this is important for beginners such as myself.
