===> The people who are doing what they love hardly feel they’re working at all, just living.” <===
Helping people find what they’re good at and love to do is the surest way to increase their engagement at work and promote a deeper sense of well-being and fulfillment in their lives. I’m not saying, of course, that if education helped everyone find their element, that would solve all the social and economic problems we face.

Alessandro Rea's insight:
Core elements of an Open Course
Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) are more than filmed lectures or static e-learning resources. They make use of online video in new ways and combine it with interactive elements as well as a social layer that encourages peer-to-peer learning.
Online video instruction is the core of open course teaching. These videos break down the content of an hour-long lecture into individual concepts that can be explained in short videos that are just a few minutes long.
Answering a few multiple-choice questions allows students to check for themselves whether they grasped the key concepts. Such interactive elements keep students engaged, ensure that they stay on track from week to week and provide immediate feedback to the instructor.
Students can post, browse and respond to other students’ questions in the context of a student forum. They can upvote questions and answers that they found particularly helpful so that the best content bubbles to the top.
