The biggest buzzword of 2013 was "cloud computing" but will it really represent that much of the future IT market?  Some industry analysts believe that data centers won't go the way of the dinosaurs, but will instead become different entities that can augment cloud computing with security, flexibility, and the advantages that customized hardware can provide.


Pricewaterhouse Cooper found that many senior executives that were involved in IT outsourcing were lukewarm on cloud computing, primarily because it entailed a loss of flexibility since cloud computing necessarily uses standardized hardware to provide consistent user experiences.
