My Thoughts:

 

This article describes a lot to me, describing that you need to add weight or reps to gain strength, keep pushing your muscles to achieve a higher strength. Do not give your muscle time to recover; I can use this to prepare my workout routine to demand more energy and increase of weight. I know now not to let the muscles rest for long periods in between sets. Some of the article is not relevant to me but maintaining a healthy balance of exercise and calorie intake will increase my results and success. I need to remind myself to eat a meal after my work out and make sure to restore energy with protein or after workout protein.

My Thoughts:

 

This document explains the steps of a good baseball workout program. Reading this gives me a better understanding of the program I’m building for myself. The stretching at the end of a workout is something I would not normally do, but after reading this I can see it will help my flexibility. Knowing what I know now about conditioning, I can get a full body workout in a 50 minute period.

My Thoughts:

 

So this article really nails down the specific workouts to do on what day, and really explains to me the amount of weight and number of reps to do for maximum strength. I read at the bottom about the types of food that are healthy to eat for optimum health to perform my best. This article goes well into what supplements I could take and what will best help build strength. I learned by reading his that you have to take care of your whole body and not just the specific muscles. I’m going to use this to also help my nutrition log.
