Allah has reserved a special 'reward' for the Al-Khalifa terrorists in #Bahrain !

It is with disgust that I read the gulf daily news, June 13, first page wih the headlines"People's blood and lives not cheap" written by the low life prince Khalifa. You have the audicity to write this when by your orders 80+ people have been murdered by your hooligans. Thousand have been injured and many many have lost their eye sight because
of YOU. Is THEIR blood that CHEAP in your eyes!! you ought to be ashamed writing that your only concern is if the merceneries/hooligans are injured. I can't imagine someone this old, who has not long to live, does not fear God and does all these cruel attrocities. Hope your day will come when you will be shackled and made to walk barefoot on glass and nails (one nail for everyone you killed and everyone you made an orphan) while a car is dragging you
and the Alkhalifa SOB's down to the Pearl Roundabout. you are a COWARD, shame on you to be still breathing.

Bahrain conflict: Not sectarian, Not Sunni, and Not Shia.......Just about freedom and Rights!

The regime and its loyalists try to foster sectarian animosity in order to divide Bahrainis and conquer them......thus maintaining their positions of oppulence.   Shame on the Al-Khalifas, this isn't a Shia or Sunni issue, it is a Human Rights issue.  The opposition represents all who are 'Human' and advocates for their rights.  To foster enmity of Muslims against fellow Muslims is not in keeping with the teachings of the Prophet!

#Bahrain: None so blind as those that will not see. | Eye4Freedom.org | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it

...

Not long after accounts of the first heroes to sacrifice their lives for freedom were broadcast, news of what started to look like a concerted effort to maim peaceful protesters by literally targeting their eyes began to escape the jail that Bahrain had become. ...

But it is precisely because of these heroes’ vision – their audacious belief that Bahrain can be governed by the consent of its people – that have cost them their vision, the full use of their eyes, cynically damaged by a ruthlessly vicious police apparatus which long ago lost sight of its supposed mission to protect and serve the people of Bahrain, to enforce laws which are supposed to protect against the wanton use of lethal violence. They’ve become a private hit squad whose sole purpose is to safeguard the blurred vision of the AlKhalifa dictatorship, a vision that sees Bahrain’s riches continuing to flow into their palaces and bank accounts, while those who they think don’t deserve a nation of which they can take ownership kiss the mighty’s rings and bow in submission to what is, for all intents and purposes, a craven, brutal gang of torturing lunatics, drunk on money and living in a dream world that must come to accept an entirely different vision of the future, if Bahrain is to have a future.

There is an old (dating back even before the AlKhalifas began to rule Bahrain) English proverbial phrase that says there are “None so blind as those that will not see.” I cannot think of a more apt description of the dictatorship which would literally seek to steal the vision from the brave people who have risked everything for the sun to rise one day upon a free Bahrain.  ~Tom Rizzo

[Blindness for the Al-Khalifas has been caused by their selfishness, hedonism, and lust for power.  Now bereft of all vision, their faculties of reason and morality have clouded as well.....Poor Khalifas, I doubt that they will ever find their way back to humanity! ]

Bahrain: Police torture is govt policy

Bahrain: Police torture is govt policy | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it
Bahrain's interior minister said in comments published on Wednesday that police had been given no orders to torture or kill protesters - practices that were highlighted in a government-commissioned independent report last year.

[By not actively pursuing any criminal charges against those perpetrating these acts, the regime has made torture their governmental policy.  This is a rouge to dispell responsibility....NOT WORKING !

The responsibility for all torture in Bahrain falls squarely on the shoulders of the Al-Khalifa terrorists ..... It matters not that Osama Bin Laden didn't fly a plane into the twin towers, he organized it and condoned it....hence responsibility conveyed to him.  Same with Al-Khalifa terrorists.....]

The Al Khalifa rulers are just puppets. The puppetmaster we need to deal with is America.’ | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it

Tensions between the US-backed regime in Bahrain and pro-democracy protesters are reaching incendiary levels as the life of a prominent human rights activist on hungerstrike hangs perilously in the balance.

For more than a year, largely peaceful rallies have persisted in Bahrain despite a brutal crackdown by Saudi-backed forces. Now, demonstrations in solidarity with imprisoned hungerstriker Abdulhadi Al Khawaja are occurring on a daily basis in villages and towns across the Persian Gulf kingdom – defying intensified state repression.

And the Bahraini uprising, led mainly by the 70 per cent Shia population, is increasingly strident in its calls for the downfall of the unelected Sunni monarchy. The prospect for some kind of compromise leading to a constitutional monarchy – a “settlement” being pushed by Washington – is now viewed as anathema, well past its sell-by date.

Paradoxically, the conflict, chaos and blinding tear gas on the streets seems to be clarifying for the Bahraini people what needs to be done to achieve their democratic freedom.

Furthermore, anger is mounting towards the US government, which is seen more and more as the political guarantor of despotic rule by the Al Khalifa monarchy.

Significantly, in response to Bahraini security force violence and the tin ear of the island’s ruling dynasty, protesters appear to be resorting to violence as their last-resort means of political expression, with youths throwing petrol bombs and barricading off streets with burning vehicles and tires. .....

After UPR Geneva session, Alkhalifa lost legitimacy to remain

After UPR Geneva session, Alkhalifa lost legitimacy to remain | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it

The week’s highlight has been the almost unanimous international verdict against the ruling Alkhalifa dynasty for its brutal violation of human rights. The regime was condemned by most of the EU countries at the Human Rights Council (HRC) meeting in Geneva on Monday 21st May when Bahrain’s Universal Periodic Review (UPR) was conducted. One of the ministers of the ruling Alkhalifa junta presented the report which failed to convince those present at the session. At least nine EU countries reacted with disgust at the dangerous abuse of human rights by the current dictator and his clique. Last year a commission funded by the regime confirmed that systematic torture and extra-judicial killings had taken place. The HRC then issued 176 recommendations, compared to nine in the earlier UPR session four years ago. The regime had dispatched scores of its mercenaries to lobby for support among HRC member states but it is clear that their mission has disastrously failed. Bahrainis are, however, unconvinced that the Alkhalifa would stop abuse of human rights, especially arbitrary detention, torture and attack on freedom of speech. None of the banned sites are expected to be allowed.

The inability of the regime to respond favourably to the HRC recommendations was immediately visible in the way human rights activists have been treated at Alkhalifa courts where the judge is the adversary. The four most prominent human rights activists remain the torture chambers for their peaceful expression of opinion; Abdul Hadi Al Khawaja, Dr Abdul Jalil Al Singace, Zainab Al Khawaja and Nabeel Rajab. All of them have been tortured at one time or another. The first two have been languishing at the torture dungeons for fifteen months where most horrible forms of torture had been administered on them. Zainab has been charged with various “offences” for opposing the dictatorship and was sentenced yesterday to one month in jail. Nabeel Rajab has also been charged with trumpeted charges intended to keep him behind bars in an attempt to stop the demonstrations. The aim is to reduce the popular revolt and prepare for another round of meaningless and time-wasting one way “dialogue”. Yet Bahraini youth will ensure that the regime goes and that its deception fails to stall the revolution.

On Wednesday 22nd May, Abdul Hadi Al Khawaja, was brought to a court run by a member of the Al khalifa enemy. After the most senior opposition figure, Abdul Wahab Hussain delivered a damning testimony to his torture ordeal, Mr Al Khawaja presented hair-raising description of the abuse he had been subjected to since his arrest in March last year. His torture include breaking his jaws in four places, urinating in his mouth, beating, electric shocks, deprivation of sleep, sexual assault and threat of rape. If the court case continues next week more damning testimonies will come out and the onus will be on the world community to take immediate action against Alkhalifa dictatorship that has administered torture on Bahrainis on a systematic and regular basis since Ian Henderson restructured the Special Branch in 1966 during the British protection era. Many Bahrainis have died under torture since then. The failure of the world to take a stand has allowed the regime to commit these heinous crimes with impunity.

Meanwhile, people’s revolution has continued. Every day and night have seen demonstrations and protests in almost every corner of the country despite the vicious attacks by the forces of Timoney and Yates. Since Alkhalifa interior minister threatened two weeks ago to escalate violence against the people the use of shotguns against protesters has increased dramatically. Everyday tens of Bahrainis are injured, but they cannot seek treatment at hospitals which are under military management and instructions to report any injured Bahraini to the torture dungeons run by Timoney and Yates.

Hopes have been raised that Nasser bin Hamad Alkhalifa, one of the most notorious torturers will be arrested upon his arrival in London for the Olympics. UK’s Foreign Office Minister Jeremy Browne told MPs that leaders linked to such crimes (torture) will not be allowed into Britain to attend the summer Olympic Games. “Where there is independent, reliable and credible evidence that an individual has committed human rights abuses, the individual will not normally be permitted to enter the UK,” Browne said. Attempts are being made to present this reliable evidence to UK courts in due course to indict this torturer.

The Butcher of Bahrain has no place at Buckingham Palace | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it

THE Queen must bridle at how, during her Diamond Jubilee, she is deployed as diplomatic cover for a murderous regime. ....

The blind eye turned by the Foreign Office to gruesome abuses of the Saudi-backed Bahrainis is nauseating. ....

The silence of the Foreign Secretary is deafening. Bahrain shoots unarmed protesters on streets. Nurses and doctors are beaten then imprisoned for treating the wounded.

Yet Bahrain receives no more than an occasional gentle scolding. ....

Bahrain is home of the US Fifth Fleet and a base for western power in the Middle East. The oil of Saudi Arabia, Bahrain’s bigger, nastier brother, keeps the world economy running. ....

The double-standards practised by the Foreign Office undermines what little moral authority Britain retains. ....

Either Britain backs the Arab Spring or it doesn’t.

We support democracy campaigners or we don’t.

Because dividing murderous autocrats into friends or foes, goodies or baddies, is moral bankruptcy.

Either Britain stands up for decency or our Government is complicit in the killing of decent people.
