....

Relatives of Baloch Missing Persons have been protesting for release of their loved ones since 714 days while it’s 85th day of protest in Karachi.

They said that Pakistan has long been committing genocide of Baloch nation & perpetrating atrocities against them but recently the occupying state of Iran has also started atrocities in Eastern Occupied Balochistan. Iranian forces enter Eastern Occupied Balochistan with full impunity from the officials of Pakistani state and commit mass atrocities against Baloch living in border areas of Eastern & Western Balochistan occupied by Pakistan & Iran respectively......

He said that the accurate figure of Baloch Missing Persons is 14385 & more than 400 bullet riddled, tortured, mutilated corpses have been found so far.

The US hearing after which many Baloch thought that this must end the ruthless behavior of state against them but it didn’t & while there was an uproar in the senate & national assemblies but the ground reality of Baloch remain the same, Kill & Dump the Baloch activists increased day by day and the limit of genocide was removed from Baloch men to Baloch women & Children who are now the most debated issues, As Pakistani state institute are abducting Baloch women & Children it is also to be noted that the faith of these Baloch women is to be practically in the arms of the danger as it is widely reported than as many as 3 million Bengali women were sexually harassed by Pakistani forces in the late 1970 & the Baloch nation is afraid that the same will happen to the Baloch women if the international governments wont intervene and stop Pakistan’s barbarism.

3 murdered,2 bullet riddled bodies found,while 6 others abducted within 24 hours

3 murdered,2 bullet riddled bodies found, while 6 others abducted within 24 hours | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it

Occupied Balochistan: Within last 24 hours, 3 Balochs have been shot dead, 6 Balochs forcefully disappeared while bodies of 2 were recovered from different areas of Balochistan. This seemingly unending wave of violence being committed by Pakistan in Balochistan is being covered by Pakistan’s claims of reconciliation with the Baloch nation, which is struggling against the illegal occupation of their motherland by Pakistan since March 1948. ....

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan is double crossing the international community by claiming to reconcile with the Baloch nationalists and denying the human rights abuses that it’s committing in Balochistan, whereas on the other hand it has continued its policies of the slow genocide of Baloch people. The time has come for the international community and humanitarian organizations to intervene in Balochistan and put an end to the Pakistani state's brutalities against the indigenous Baloch populace.

However, Minister for Mines and Minerals, Mir Abdul Rehman Mengal said in his speech that it would be better if the members of provincial assembly, would rather focus on the issues pertaining to Balochistan which is currently facing a serious law and order situation. “First we have to address the grievances of Balochistan where people are living in fear due to the increasing incidents of targeted killing, practices of enforced disappearances, recovery of mutilated bodies of missing people, highway holds up and kidnapping for ransom,” he stressed.
“We support democracy but in Balochistan no one is taking the responsibility of the killings and kidnappings. As far as the threat to democracy is concerned, the Federal Government is itself responsible for the crisis,” Rehman said

...Within the span of two years, many people who had gone missing from Balochistan have either been found dead or there is no clue whatsoever where they might be.

Looking at the recent trend of “kill and dump”, Qadir says that there is little hope that people who have gone missing will come back home alive.

Recalling some recent instances, he says that at times the families just received a bag full of ears, fingers or arms, and they were asked to recognise their family members as there was nothing else available. ...

Missing in Balochistan

Missing in Balochistan | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it

Even if we buy the government’s claim that the number of missing persons in Balochistan has declined, it is only because many of them have lately been found dead. Since June 2010, more than 230 bodies of the previously missing persons have been dumped at abandoned places in the largest but the least populated province. According to the Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ), 10 journalists have been killed so far this year.

Is Pakistan heading for disaster in Balochistan?

Is Pakistan heading for disaster in Balochistan? | Human Rights and the Will to be free | Scoop.it

Pakistan must end its policy of killings and kidnappings of Baloch people and recognise the importance of the region.    ....

Pakistanis seem to forget that Balochistan may only have a tiny population - but comprises 44 per cent of Pakistan's land territory. They forget it has vast natural resources and hundreds of miles of sea coast which make it a key geopolitical area. While Balochistan can survive without Pakistan, it is Pakistan that simply cannot survive without Balochistan.
