Models of Symbiosis

Symbiosis can be based on direct collaboration between company and customer or between companies creating value together for customer. In Michael Porters shared value theory the symbiosis is between society and business. We came to conclusion that there are four general models of symbiosis which can also be combined:

- Shared Value = Symbiosis between society and business
- Platform/standard based = Symbiosis between platform owner, partners and customer
- Co-created = Customer & company
- Coalition = Several companies working together for a customer

After analyzing the skills and employment history of its 259 million members, LinkedIn discovered that social media marketing, mobile development, and cloud and distributed computing topped this year's hottest skills of 2013.

The first Investis IQ Audience Insight Report published this month, tracked visitors to corporate websites from social media platforms. The research found that LinkedIn drives significantly more traffic to corporate websites than all the other social platforms combined.

According to the survey LinkedIn accounts for nearly two thirds, 64%, of all visits to corporate websites from social media sites and this is steadily increasing.

"To get those leads you have to promote your business and share links to the landing pages of your services and offers in your Status Updates, in the Answers and Groups and of course the Products and Services sections."


How?


- "Ask for connections
- Respond to and answer questions
- Showcase your credibility. Recommend others.
- Join 10 Linkedin Groups
- Get rid of the resume profile."
