Basado en la evidencia de accidentes aéreos anteriores, los datos nos dice que es más seguro para sentarse en la parte trasera del avión. En 11 de los 20 accidentes, los pasajeros traseros claramente fue mejor. Sólo cinco accidentes favorecidos los que se sientan adelante. Tres eran tossups, sin un patrón particular de la supervivencia. En un caso, las posiciones del asiento no se pudo determinar. ¿Dónde gráficos detallados de asientos estaban disponibles, también se calculó las tasas de supervivencia de varias partes de la cabina de pasajeros. Una vez más, la tendencia era clara: La parte trasera del habitáculo (asientos ubicados detrás del borde posterior del ala) tuvo la mayor tasa de supervivencia promedio de 69 por ciento. La sección overwing tuvo una tasa de 56 por ciento la supervivencia, al igual que la sección de entrenador por delante del ala. Primero por clase de negocios-secciones (o en todos los planos del coche-, el frente 15 por ciento) tenían una tasa promedio de supervivencia de sólo el 49 por ciento.

This article is about a mishap that happened at Honolulu International Airport, in which two planes nearly collided with each other. Accordinng to the FAA, the collision occured because a rookie air traffic controller froze, and caused the planes to come within 300 feet of each other. According to the local news stations in Hawaii, the altitude seperation was at 0, so the planes were heading straight for each other. After the incident, the FAA relieved the air traffic contoller of his position. His manager was also let go.

The U.S. is exploring the reasons for F-22 pilots sometimes having hypoxia. Hypoxia is a lack of oxygen in the body. This can cause  polit error in the cockpit and make them loose control. This took up more importance after the crash of a F-22 and the death of its pilot in November 2010. More incidences of hypoxia have caused the Air Force to work with companies and NASA to solve this problem.

Steve Slater, a flight attendent for Jet Blue, left the plane he was on by opening the door and sliding out on the evacuation slide. Slater had gotten angry with a disrespecting  passenger and cursed on the intercom at the rest of the passengers in frustration. He then left the plane on the emergency slide witha beer he had grabed and left the airport in a car he had brought there. Slater was arrested and Jet Blue apologized for his actions.

The Commander of the 12th Air Force of the United States met with the Commander of the Columbian Air Force. This was done to strengthen the bonds between the two friendly nations. They discussed "Red Flag" which is a event with Air Forces of different nations coming to Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas Nevada and doing some exercises. These exercises are used to help sharpen every pilot's skill and to build ties between nations.

My article is about how planes will be able to take off at Reagan Airport. Following the September 11th attacks, all flights across the U.S. were suspended and were forced to make emergency landings. With the new plan in effect, 24 landings and 24 takeoffs each day are part of the plan, compared to over 240 operations a day before 9/11. Still, restrictions remain: only regularly scheduled airlines, some government flights and law enforcement aircraft can routinely use the airport. The federal government has granted waivers for special flights, including some carrying governors and other dignitaries.
