3D printing isn’t just for tiny trinkets. The 3D printed house will be printed on a 20-foot-tall printer and open to the public.
Two house scale 3D printers are being used for architecture. KamerMaker, in the Netherlands and Contour Crafting, out of the University of Southern California are creating homes using this cutting edge technology. It remains to be seen what the benefits are over traditional building methods.
