     The sapodilla tree oozes a particular substance known as chicle. The sap is used mainly in the production of gum, but the tree is native to South America and gum chewing actually goes back to the Mayans.

The earliest human footprints outside of Africa have been uncovered, on the English coast, by a team of scientists. Their discovery offers researchers an insight into the migration of pre-historic people hundreds of thousands of years ago when Britain was linked by land to continental Europe.

The Saudis have financed the building of the King Fahd Mosque in Buenos Aires, even though only roughly 1% of Argentina is Muslim, and the vast majority of those are non-practicing, according to the Argentine academics Pedro Brieger and Enrique Herszkowich, who wrote, "a realistic guess for the Muslim population of Buenos Aires might be around 4,500, far fewer than the number projected by some Muslim officials." From this mosque, the Islamic Center of the Republic of Argentina (CIRA) has already been instrumental in the cancelation of a popular secular Arab-Argentine program to make way for a Saudi-financed Muslim show called El cálamo y su mensaje (The Quill and Its Message). How do you think the Arabs were able to accomplish this?

In 2009, a women came, wearing a niqab to the Trocadero Square, and in 2011, it was banned. Linda Woodhead said that , "To deny someone the right to live by their conscience is what the 17th-century pioneer of religious freedom Roger Williams called 'soul rape'. The only possible reason for restricting religious freedom is when it violates civil law or harms others." Do you think that taking away this right was wrong?
