The last of the 15 senses that I wrote about was the sixth sense: It doesn't hurt to be able to perceive those things that are not seen or immediately apparent. Converse Rubber Tracks, a recording studio in Brooklyn, N.Y., that gives away recording time to up-and-coming bands, has been a badge of hipster cred for Converse, the North Andover-based footwear company. Less well-known is the series of “pop-up” studio situations that Converse has created here in Boston, the latest of which ran Monday to Friday. Converse also introduced its Rubber Tracks national tour in Cambridge on Tuesday, setting the stage for the company’s move to Boston’s harborfront next year for a new full-time Rubber Tracks studio.
