When Miley was "Hannah Montana", her fanbase consisted off young children...now that she's "matured" she being talked about more and is no longer being viewed as a for-children-only celebrity.

Taking on a new persona is hard to pull off but, can be worth it. The article used Miley Cyrus as a great example and also the aurthor realizes that she is not the only artist turning a new leaf. Britteny Spears and Madonna were moving to a different  light for their sells.It is the well organized and I understood his message since the beginning of the paragraph. I enjoyed the many other examples of the many artists.

the article explains how music reinvention  is a good way to reach fans.

Pros: this move could definitly work and create a buzz for your fan base.

Cons: depending on your fanbase this could fail miserabley and maybe end your career.

this article outlines the importance of "reinvention" of yourself to the world; After you are doing well in the industry. 

pros of this is that you have a chance to reach out to new audiences gaining more exposure and ultimately more more sales.

cons of this are that your fans may not like the new you, and turn their backs on you and favor another artist

Con: Depending on how long they've been in prison, they may have lost their popularity and may not sell as well; especially if they were dropped from their label.

Blu-Ray players are popular now and are being used more than standard DVD players. To include VEVO on them will increase interaction when using home theater systems and will boost music video views, therefore encouraging artists to make more music videos. Soon, VEVO and other sites that host video will be available on everything that plugs into the wall, probably.

This article shows how much music videos have aggressivley pushed passed web browsers.

Pros; you can easily get a first look at your artist which is why vevo has been such a success.

Cons:Sometimes the music may not be to good considering the fact that any artist can sign a contract with vevo.

Sales of recorded music have plunged over the last decade. But concert ticket sales and other revenue have offset almost all of the decline.
Maliq Gregory Smith's insight:

The sales fall of recorded music is probably accurate because most music isn't bought anymore, which increases the concert sales because you can't pirate a concert; no ticket, no entry. But, I don't believe the recorded music sales are that low because without recorded music, concerts wouldn't even exist.
