"For most music artists, “reinvention” is a way to reach new fans, create buzz, and experiment with new sounds. No matter how they create it, an artist’s persona is everything—and they convey it in everything they do."
Blu-Ray players are popular now and are being used more than standard DVD players. To include VEVO on them will increase interaction when using home theater systems and will boost music video views, therefore encouraging artists to make more music videos. Sales of recorded music have plunged over the last decade. But concert ticket sales and other revenue have offset almost all of the decline.

The sales fall of recorded music is probably accurate because most music isn't bought anymore, which increases the concert sales because you can't pirate a concert; no ticket, no entry. But, I don't believe the recorded music sales are that low because without recorded music, concerts wouldn't even exist.
