The murder of any human being is a crime, and a tragedy. It is the subject of society’s strictest taboo and severest penalty, and yet every year hundreds of Canadians are murdered.
A/Prof Jon Willis's insight:

Seriously? Because Aboriginal men are twice as likely to be murdered as Aboriginal women? Seriously?? The line I love the best: it's not that more Aboriginal women are being murdered, it's that less non-Aboriginal women are being murdered. Seriously???
