State Amendment would make taxpayers help fund churches and religious schools | Modern Atheism | Scoop.it

The 2012 elections will be watched by every American coast to coast, and while the Presidential race is at the top of everyone's list, there is something going on in the state of Florida that could have a ripple effect on everyone else.

It's called "Florida Religious Freedom", or Amendment 7. If passed, the amendment would allow taxpayer money to be used to fund religious organizations.
