Those who know me are aware of the fact that I really entered the 21st century at the end of last year, when I got my first smartphone ever.


The first thing I did is check out Instagram to see what all the ruckus was about. My friends and professional connections kept telling me that the site rocks. Well, they were right.


Even though I have only been on Instagram for a couple of weeks, I have enjoyed the interactions and met some interesting new people.


One thing I can say is this. Instagram is not just a place to post selfies and pictures of your latest meal. It is also perfect for businesses interested in connecting with their audience in a more personalized way.


In my article, I share five tips that have helped me make the most of the platform and give my work some exposure. I hope you will find them useful!

When Facebook announced that they were acquiring Instagram earlier in the month most people wondered how they would integrate the service in to their own offering.


Mark Zuckerberg himself went to great lengths to say that they would be keeping the service alive and independent although not everybody took that at face value.


Today we are seeing the very start of the merging of these two products with a very subtle but important addition to the Facebook app
