Danielle M. Villegas's curator insight, January 13, 2015 9:43 AM

Craig Cardimon shared this gem by Danielle Klahr. I can say that this is pretty much the method that I use when writing my content--especially for my blog entries. Editing is always crucial! I don't know how many times I review and edit my blog posts before I actually post them, and yes, as she says, sometimes I still find mistakes after I've reviewed it dozens of times.

There are some good, basic pointers here worth reviewing.

Shayne Train's curator insight, January 14, 2015 9:58 AM

It's kind of a shame that this needs to be explicitly stated. Nevertheless, from years of reading blogs on the web, many obviously don't bother.

Kanti Kumar's curator insight, January 17, 2015 2:18 PM

No matter which platform or channel or which audience you are writing for, editing and re-editing have to be part of the quality assurance process. Our journalism professor insisted on one single formula for being a good reporter/writer: "Edit. Edit. Edit."

Stick Around - Play and Create iPad Puzzles - iPad Apps for School | Assistive Technology | Scoop.it

Stick Around is a new iPad app developed by Tony Vincent and Morris Cooke (the developer of the popular Explain Everything app). Stick Around gets its name of the sticker element of the app. The app contains educational puzzles that students solve by dragging stickers into the correct locations on the puzzles. The puzzles are essentially matching activities that can be customized by the teachers. The best aspect of the app is that teachers can create their own puzzles
