Unlike any ship of its kind, Olympic was painted in a glossy white color so cameras during its time could easily snap its picture and havve its features and name "OLYMPIC" stand on on its bow and stern. This idea is demonstrated by most cruiselines today including Princess and Carnival.

When Titanic sank in April of 1912, the few lifeboats it had actually was more than enough by the standards then set. After the sinking all vessels became required to carry enough lifeboats and a couple extra for the maximum capacity of the vessel.

Crew and passenger drills became a requirement, for all passengers, regardless of class (1st, 2nd, or 3rd). All ships were fitted with double bottoms and watertight bulkhead door rising to B Deck.

Designed with one extra bulkhead door than Titanic, it was the largest of the ships. The turbine could apply forces of 18,000 horsepower and second class was given a gymnasium and covered standing deck for a clear outside viewing area. This was the beginning of equality for all on a cruise, no matter the class.

Olympic was the first of the three ships built and was the largest ship in the world at its time. It lived on through 24 years of service and a troopship and passenger liner until White Star Line merged with the Cuncard Line in 1934.

Britannic is the largest ship on the ocean floor today and is in one piece. The mine or torpedo (whichever one the ship hit) did not have a strong enough impact to break the bow from the stern showing it had stabily. Mechanical issues and careless staffing caused the sinking after the initial torpedo impact.

Titanic had many issues including a list to port 20 degrees (meaning it naturally turned left without turning the wheel). This may suggest why it almost wrecked into the SS New York as it was being launched on its maiden voyage.
