Aspect 3: The social working system is a complicated system full of rules and regulations. Some social workers have failed at keeping children safe. Social workers must not focus on the best solution for the family but for the children. A social worker must learn to cope with demanding clients and a large amount of paperwork.

Aspect 3: Some social workers can be afraid of challenging another adult and confronting them about their behaviors. A social worker must always find a solution that will allow healing on both sides. Healing can be found through treatment plans set up through the social workers, therapy is also another option that will allow the social workers to help both sides but still advocating for the victim.

Social workers see horrible cases of abuse which in a way can make the social workers see minor cases of abuse as not important. Every case of abuse should be taken very seriously, and action must be taken. Some people believe the system is failing because of a social workers normalcy towards horrific cases of abuse.

Many in the criminal justice system focus on the crime that occurred not the defendant's mental health and capability. A social worker helps to bring light to the defendant's health . However social working in the criminal justice system is a tough job and many aren't cut out for the exhausting work in bringing awareness to mental health.

The criminal justice system can be a confusing maze for some clients involved in the criminal justice system. Another aspect of a CJSW job is to guide their client through the system while getting them help. A CJSW allows more options than just prison; other than prison a CJSW can offer rehab or many other treatment options. This allows the client to have options, and allows them to have a chance at get the help they need.

When a CJSW completes a full report on the defendant's mental health this allows for a sentence to be based on their state of mind. These reports play a huge role in determining the correct action to take after the crime. A CJSW brings awareness towards the mental health aspect throughout the court system and throughout society. After the report is done a CJSW will explore other treatment options to allow the defendant to get healthy.

CJSW deal with most clients that live in poverty or many other issues. Because of little adjustments a CJSW makes in a clients life has a impact on their community. Interventions can help a client stay out jail and can have a positive influence.

Aspect 3: Most social workers feel with the stress, fatigue and long work hours affect their overall performance. Their performance can help or hurt their clients. The system needs to change in order for the system to be improved.

Aspect 3: A social worker's salary is also a major concern because this can lead to more stress and a less productive work ethic. Instead of concentrating on their job a social worker will be more concerned on how they are going to provide for themselves. The less stress a social worker has to deal with creates a positive outcome through the social working system.

Until the job of a social worker can change the system will have some failing aspects. There are several social workers that improve the system through their dedication of the clients, but there are still major improvements that can be made. HIring more social workers for example will lessen the work load and stress of some social workers. A change most be made in the social working career to fix an occasionally failing system.

A criminal justice social worker (CJSW) must show leadership in all different areas in the criminal justice system. Growing crime rates forces CJSW to deal with many cases and trials. Many people that are released from prison are taken into custody again soon after their release. A CJSW must end this vicious cycle and come up with a variety of treatment options to ensure a positive influence on society.

CJSW can be contacted through the local authorities but there are many independent agencies that provide CJSW services. CJSW are in high demand because of revised sentencing and there is more community based options in the criminal justice system.

A CJSW must adapt to a changing society must have many different approaches to different cases. A CJSW must be good at coordinating based on wide variety of circumstances. A CJSW makes a large impact in the juvenile justice system, they must have a plan to ensure that the client is steered on the right path.
