healthcare product managers are responsible for having a good product and they're also responsible for representing themselves in a professional way. Something else that product managers are responsible for is finding out what peoples needs are and meeting those needs. "Product management is more than a one person job".

The chance of someone getting a healthcare management position is slim if that person doesn't have prior experience in a healthcare sales representative position. There is the possibility of moving into a "healthcare sales management position" when coming from another profession, but this person attempting to make the switch must show that the type of selling that they've done somewhat resembles that of the required technical experience needed and a "strong knowledge" of the area that person is going into.

"A regional business manager is what is known as a first line manager", these managers are in charge of health care representatives.

National sales managers are known as "second line managers" and are seen as a sort of top-dog role in healthcare management. National sales managers look over entire nations and they also have the regional sales managers report to them. There is also the possibility of the national sales manager having to report to the Managing Director.

No Monthly premium is required for this part.

Part B is what pays for "medically necessary physician visits, outpatient hospital visits, home health care costs, and other services for the aged, and disabled". For this part, patients must make a monthly payment of $96.40, and they must also meet a deductible of $135. A few examples of the coverage that part B covers are as follows:" Durable medical equipment, blood transfusions, renal dialysis, etc..".

Part C allows people to make a plan of their own hat is more suited to their own needs. Private insurance companies are used in these plans to provide some of the coverage, " but details vary based on the eligibility of the patient".

There are three points of view that managers have within the financial aspect of the health care industry, financial, process, or clinical. Managers that have a financial view "generally work with finance on a daily basis" while the reporting aspect of their job is there responsibility. These managers are largely in charge of the "strategic planning of their company".
Zack Brown's comment, March 28, 2014 7:57 AM
Managers that have a process view "work with the system of organization". There's also a possibility for these managers being responsible for data accumulation. Managers dealing with organization are "often affiliated with the information hierarchy system in the organization".
Zack Brown's comment, March 28, 2014 8:03 AM
Managers that have a clinical point of view on healthcare finance management are usually in charge of "service delivery". These managers also have direct contact with the patients and are responsible for "clinical outcomes of the organization". A very important thing about these managers is that they must interact with one another.

Part D of Medicare also includes a variety of coverage options to aid in the payment of prescriptions. Another big thing about Part D is that it's optional and Patients arent forced to pay for this part of Medicare.
