I found this article to be extremly helpful, I really like how it gave alternative suggestions for people on a budget or people who have different equipment. All the ideas given were very helpful and great ideas; it also had some wonderful pointers and things to consider before recording as well as where to record. Of course a recording studio or a sound booth is one of the best places to record vocals and music. It's nice to know that are still ways that work very well for people at home.
I found this study sheet to be very helpful because it gave clear examples of the basics. But it didn"t feel that it was very informational and there could have been more examples. The format is nice and easy to read and I do really like how the notes information is seperate but still close to the rest information.
This video is so true and very informational. I can definitely see how using the social media can help a business, mainly because social media has become a huge part of people’s lives. With millions upon millions of people using some form of social media, companies can vastly benefit from having their business mentioned or in the spotlight of some commonly used social media outlet.
I think that these ideas and this message should be used in all forms of writing; even our conversations. Miscommunication would decrease and people could get clear concise points across. I also found each tip/idea to be very helpful and made me think of how I could apply it my basic writing and well as just life in general. Words do have a lot of power, sometimes it's just hard to see how much.
This is such a moving video, and it just goes to show that the simplest things can have an extreme impact. I feel that power doesn't necessarily rely on how many people there are involved; but how the message is written. The lady could have read the sign felt bad give him some change and walk away, but instead she changed the wording on his sign making his situation something people have a stronger impact to. To me this video showed the great power in words, and just how careful we need to be when using them; because they have enormous impacts.
I found this somewhat helpful and rather thoughtful; the ideas presented are creative and do sound like they would help improve songwriting skills. And I do think that the suggestion of learning from a favorite songwriter; in order to enhance ones songwriting skills is a fantastic idea. I'm not sure how helpful the suggestion of writing songs everyday is however. I find that in order to write a good song it typically takes a few days, and that"s without editing.
Several key elements go into writing a song. Here are some of these elements. Here are some of the elements that make up a song. Take each one of these and look at your songs. See where you can improve or where you need help.
I found this to be very informational and quite helpful. I love how it addresses the multiple ways of writing a song; being creating the music first or the lyrics. The fact that there is an explanation as well as a broken down flowchart that gives ideas about what each step entails and how it helps continue the process so a complete song can be made. One of the best qualities of this article for me is that it has the flowchart as well as an explanation of each part in the song writing process.
I found this whole video to be inspiring and informational. It made me realize just how much the media impacts us and how many people don't realize it because so many other people are doing the same. Social media is something that gets talked about quite often; but it's the impacts it forms that tend be put on the sidelines. There is hope though, I think that if we follow the tips at the end of the video we can make a change and break the cycle.
I think this is an awesome idea, for people who want to write songs but have no clue where to begin; this is a huge help. It's also a very good organizational format, with clear instructions for each step, that would help ease the songwriting process. I feel that it helps new songwriters have an order and a way of prioritizing each aspect in creating a song. For those that have written songs and get stuck or in a point of writers block, it could help them find what they may be missing in order to complete the songwriting process or simply get out of a rut.
