Argentina Listeni/ˌɑrənˈtnə/, officially the Argentine Republic (Spanish: República Argentina [reˈpuβlika aɾxenˈtina]), is a country in South America, bordered by Chile to the west and south, Bolivia and Paraguay to the north and Brazil and Uruguay to the northeast. Argentina claims sovereignty over part of Antarctica, the Falkland Islands (Spanish: Islas Malvinas) and South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.

The country is a federation of 23 provinces and the autonomous city of Buenos Aires, its capital and largest city. It is the eighth-largest country in the world by land area and the largest among Spanish-speaking nations. Argentina is a founding member of the United Nations, Mercosur, the Union of South American Nations, the Organization of Ibero-American States, the World Bank Group and the World Trade Organization, and is one of the G-15 and G-20 major economies.

Argentina is a great place it has many culteral festivals and great diversity.

From the falls to the government, Argentina is a great place to visit.

It also has a rich background much like America with the revolt against Spain and the civil war

Buenos Aires is the capital and the strong point of the country

Argentina can be looked at as the best country in South America.

The President of the Argentine Nation (Spanish: Presidente de la Nación Argentina), usually known as the President of Argentina, is the head of state of Argentina. Under the national Constitution, the President is also the chief executive of the federal government and Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces.

Through Argentine history, the office of the Head of State has undergone many changes, both in its title as in its features and powers. The current President is Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, who was sworn in to a second term on 10 December 2011.

The first president of Argentina was  Bernardino Rivadavia.

He was elected with the new constitution

The new constitution was written in 1826

This gave them freedom from Spain

Later this caused a civil war

It gets hotter, but not a lot because it is opposte to what we feel during the winter.

It plans to warm up over the next week.

The biggest crop they have is sugar cane.

The sugar cane gets shipped to sugar companies to get made into sugar.

The sugar cane yeilded a weight of 19.4 million metric tons on the largest crop in the country.

The country is also know for their potatoes.
