8 solid, actionable tips for using tech in ways that actually improve the classroom.

Sarah Johnson's curator insight, February 14, 2:35 PM

TED Talks, simply put, are wonderful!  This particular talk is about technology.  We don't need technology for the sake of technology.  We need to start at the end.  What is it we want to achieve?  Goals first and then comes the technology piece.

We don't want to limit ourselves or our students.  We shouldn't just be the dispenser of information.  We need to challenge our students to solve problems and persevere.  A little brain pain allows a student to grow and to learn from their mistakes.

When we allow student interest to direct the learning and planning we make connections with no limitations.

Fatima Formariz's insight:

Great post on why flipped classroom should be part of every teacher's repertoire.
