We’re happy to announce the release of a new version of the Arduino software, version 1.0.5. Barring any unexpected bugfixes, this is the final planned release of the 1.0 series of the IDE. Future releases will be from the 1.5 branch that has been in beta since last summer.
I have first installed on the left the Ethernet adapter with some patafix, well pressed to fix it. I have connected the Ethernet cable to the Ethernet adapter and reordered the cable. After in the next Amiga port i have fixed alwayse with some patafix the hdmi cable with the female port looking outside. I have reordered the cable.
Watch and record live TV on your Raspberry Pi TechRadar UK The Raspberry Pi is perfectly suited to this, too, and with the appropriate hardware it can be turned into a powerful low-cost digital video recorder, complete with media streaming,...
This Brainy Desk Lamp Has a Personality - Mashable Mashable A Canadian design company called Fabule has developed Clyde, an LED desk lamp that can be programmed with personality modules in its "brain." It's compatible with Arduino, an open-source...
Although there are dedicated sensors to measure current - such as the Allegro Microsystems ACS712 (as used in my Power Supply Project), this article describes the more "traditional" method using a low value shunt resistor. Using a shunt provides a lot more flexibility in the current range that's available, rather than being "stuck" with the 5A or 30A ranges of the dedicated Hall Effect sensors.
Embedded-Lab is doing a series of tutorials for the Netduino. The Day 7 tutorial of a series is RGB LED color formation using Pulse Width Modulation:
In yesterday’s post, a resistive voltage divider was used to measure the battery voltage – any voltage for that matter, as long as the divider resistor values are chosen properly. With a 6V battery, a 10 + 10 kΩ divider draws 0.3 ma, i.e. 300 µA. Can we do better? Sure: 100+100 kΩ draws 30 µA, 1+1 MΩ draws 3 µA, and 10+10 MΩ draws just 0.3 µA. Unfortunately there are limits, preventing the use of really high resistor divider values.
The following was co-authored and co-hacked with Claire. Claire and I went to the Arduino Hackday hosted by the Scholars' Lab on Friday. We had no idea what we were getting into, which made it all the more fun.

The LilyPad Arduino is a set of electronic parts and modules used to create interactive garments. Sensors, speakers and LED lights are stitched together with conductive thread to create dynamic garments or accessories, like the Climate Dress and the Bio Circuit vest which interact with the environment.
Our friends at DesignSpark have produced a really beautiful time-lapse video with one of our new camera boards. It doesn't start very beautifully, because it was filmed on a day whose start can best be described as “sodden”, ...
Arduino-based Kissing Evaluator Measures Just How Good Your Kissing Skills Are Ubergizmo We're sure that many guys and girls out there fancies themselves as the best kisser ever, but what if you could take a “test” to prove it?

We've been following the work of [Andrew Holme] and his homebrew GPS receiver for a while now. A few years ago, [Andrew] built a four-channel GPS receiver from scratch, but apparently that wasn't enough for him.
TechHive Arduino's first robotics kit is coming, and it rolls around like a Roomba TechHive Arduino has already made it easier to build your own electronics projects.
I got fed up with inaccurate weather forecasts. So I combined PHP and jQuery with an Arduino to capture and display real-time weather data.
Mix together one Raspberry Pi and a sprinkle of cheap external hard drives and you have the recipe for an ultra-low-power and always-on network storage device. Read on as we show you how to set up your own Pi-based NAS.
The TCS34725 RGB color sensor board from Adafruit works with the Netduino Plus 2 using an I2C connection. You can find the datasheet here. The C# example below reports the clear, red, green, and blue light levels for a given sample (printing them to the debug console in Visual Studio).
Veremos como conectar este magnifico router junto a Arduino. Hasta ahora, siempre habia utilizado este router para crear redes WDS ó como repetidor universal.
...Digilent’s chipKIT DP32 board features basic I/O and interface components, expanding the 32-bit chipKIT ecosystem while providing a low-cost, Arduino-compatible development platform with a great out-of-the-box user experience. The chipKIT Fubarino™ Mini board, from the partnership between FUBAR Labs and Schmalz Haus, also provides a great option for Arduino-compatible development with 32-bit PIC32 MCUs, using a prototyping-friendly board form factor.
