This page shows two examples on how to drive a unipolar stepper motor. These motors can be found in old floppy drives and are easy to control.

The prototyping board has been populated with a 10K potentiomenter that we connect to an analog input, and a ULN2003A driver. This chip has a bunch of transistors embedded in a single housing. It allows the connection of devices and components that need much higher current than the ones that the ATMEGA8 from our Arduino board can offer.

De entre todas las opciones disponibles (véase Jugando con LEGO Minstorms: NXT), la menos intrusiva y que parece más estable es NXC. NXC es un lenguaje muy parecido a C, orientado a la programación concurrente del NXT. Para usarlo no es preciso modificar el firmware original del NXT. Por ello, será la primera opción elegida.

In this tutorial, I want to provide a quick guide about settting up and using the NCB/NXC compilers to write code for the NXT brick. This is not a programming guide, as several already exist and are listed on the NCB/NXC site (NXC Guide, NBC Guide, NBC Tutorial, and also a book can be purchased!). But those tutorial suppose that you are using the Windows-only bricxcc IDE to transfer code to the NXT brick. They do not document the steps that you have to take by using the tools directly, which is what you have to do on Linux.
