France - UK: complementary views on web archiving - UK Web Archive blog | archives administration | Scoop.it
Considering the nature of the web, it is fairly impossible to archive all of it, and choices have to be made. Usually two strategies are combined. Lise Summers's insight:

An interesting blog about the importance of records management, and the need to recognise that much of what we do today is associated with electronic records.  I'm a little disturbed by the suggestion that edrms and e-records are no longer seen as success stories, but whole heartedly endorse the sentiments behind improving records management both in the present and for the future.
