Charlie Dare's insight:

Nate replies to viewrs questions viewers Questions and you can subscribe to online discussion topic on 3 major considerations you need to plan for when starting a commercial farm .." You can apply phosphorus foliarly, and it can help, but whether it's effective or not really depends on the crop and when you spray it. If you do apply it foliarly, I would do so when the plant begins to flower for maximum uptake, use and production."

Jack Ng claims his rotating vertical farming system could increase Singapore's locally grown produce by a factor of seven.
Charlie Dare's insight:

The statement is not quite true in this article as an English professional salad grower I think invented the water wheel concept.....                        [ Inside, hundreds of 30-foot tall aluminum A-frames structures are stacked to the ceiling with tiers of lettuce and Chinese cabbage arranged in a circle, each rotating like a Ferris wheel. It’s a technology Ng invented, and it’s built around what he calls his “water wheel.” Basically the system’s hydraulic engine, the water wheel is a turbine that’s spun by water flowing down through a pipe from a tank near the top of each A-frame.]

The grower I refer to is Graham Dunling, he invented a similar water wheel system~ He also is responsible for another system in Hong Kong ~
