With much of the world's eyes looking at Brazil over the next few years for World Cup soccer, then the Olympics, they have been trying to spruce up the place.  With a population over 6 million, there is a lot of fixing up and covering up going on, in many cases to the detriment of the millions of poor people who live in the favelas there.  Do they have a rug big enough to sweep them under?
