Just listed on the 2013 National Register of Historic places - the New River Gorge Bridge crosses over the New River Gorge near Fayetteville, WV in the Appalachian Mountains. It is one of the world's longest steel singlespan arch bridges and the third highest vehicular bridge in the U.S. The river is famous for its white water rafting.
