Google Drive provides many great options for easy access to administrative tasks on a mobile device. Edgalaxy provides a basic printable guide to using Google Drive on your computer (not the app) as a great starting point with its use.

33 Great Apps for Storytelling and Creativity | Technology & Education | Scoop.it

"Here are the main apps I suggest for storytelling. Some of them are actual bookmaking apps, some are apps for creating stories in various ways and others are apps I would use to help kids plan out a story. I have listed them in the order of importance for my classroom. I think the first 10 on the list are a must have for all elementary classrooms."

The curation comment is interesting... I think it's fantastic that students are able to gain these skills without the assistance of a teacher, but ultimately if they veer off the path or have been misguided, they will always need a facilitator to not only show students the tools but also give them some best practice ideas.

We do still need to remember that to get it right with the student you need to get it right with the teacher. As John said "keeping it simple and general is still the key"

"Now that it's the middle of summer, rubrics are probably the furthest thing from your minds. However, unfortunately it won't be long from now that we will be knee-deep in marking. ForAllRubrics https://www.forallrubrics.com/ is one of my best finds online in a long time. This is a free “service” for teachers that works on iPad and iPhone. Now, teachers will be able to create rubrics and easily use their iOS devices to assess all of their students."

This makes it very easy to grade your students projects or products. I think a rubric is the step some teachers forget.
