Allen High graduate Ann Elisabeth Everett begins a career at a large university

After she graduated from Allen High, Ann Elisabeth Everett was off to a new start at a large public university. Her university has been declared a “very high research university,” and it has several excellent graduate and undergraduate programs. They have excellent faculty, classes, and research opportunities. The university has more than 24,000 students in all of its various programs and campuses. It boasts a 19 to 1 student-faculty ration and has students from all 50 states and several countries.

Ann Elisabeth Everett is a sophomore student at her university. She was selected for the excellent academic record she received at Allen High School, as well as her active participation in sports, volunteering, and social activities. The university looks for well-rounded students who exemplify high academic standards, a commitment to success, and a dedication for giving back to the community. At the university, Ann Elisabeth Everett is studying History and International Relations. She maintains a 3.94 grade point average in both majors and has been named to the Dean’s List and the Chancellor’s List. As a new member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Ann Elisabeth Everett will continue to strive towards high academic achievement and community service.

Ann Elisabeth Everett would enthusiastically recommend her university to any student looking for a great undergraduate experience. She says, “There are so many wonderful programs here! I know people who are studying all sorts of subjects and they all love their classes. Sophomore Ann Elisabeth Everett gives back to the community.

At most universities, community service and volunteerism are core values. One student who exemplifies this commitment is Ann Elisabeth Everett. The sophomore from Allen, Texas not only holds a 3.94 grade point average along with membership in several honor societies and the Alpha Delta Pi sorority. She also takes time to give back to the community through volunteerism and her work as an on-campus tutor.

Ann Elisabeth Everett values volunteerism and giving back to the community. She has always had help getting such good grades. As a child, her parents helped her with her homework after school when she needed extra assistance. In high school, she often worked with teachers outside of class, or sought help from other students when she needed extra explanation. Ann Elisabeth Everett was well known around her high school for organizing study groups for some of her more difficult classes. Many people in her home town in Allen, Texas have volunteered with Ann. She was always looking for a way to give back in town, and was particularly interested in educational causes. A hard-working student, Ann Elisabeth Everett values education and wants to help other students learn and achieve good grades so that they can go on to the college or career of their choice.

At her university, Ann Elisabeth Everett works as a college tutor through the center for tutoring. For students who are having trouble with a course, or who need help preparing for an exam, the center for tutoring pairs them up with a qualified student tutor. Ann Elisabeth Everett has received professional training for the tutor, and she is certified to help students in History, International Relations, Economics, and Spanish. To date, she has worked with more than 20 students, and all have seen improved academic results.

As a member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority, Ann Elisabeth Everett will have the opportunity to participate in group philanthropic events. Her chapter, the Delta Delta chapter, helps to tutor students at a local elementary school. Ann Elisabeth Everett helps students with math and reading homework twice a week with her sorority sisters.
