So far in science, we have learned about plant and animal HABITATS. We know from class that a habitat is a plant or animal's home. It is the place where the plant or animal gets everything it needs to survive (that's food, water, shelter, and space).
Today, you will be learning about different land and sea animals! I have two links that I am sharing with you today - both have short videos of animals. YOUR JOB is to click on the links on this page and watch the videos. CHOOSE 3 of them to write about. Use the sheet I gave you to fill in the HABITAT and ADAPTATIONS for EACH ANIMAL. An ADAPTATION is a feature that helps a plant or animal survive. (An example would be how snow hares are white to blend into the snow. Or how cheetahs are really fast so that they can catch their prey)
NOTE: You only have to write about 3 animals. Once you have filled out your sheet, you can watch as many videos as you want!
