Angular cheilitis is a word used as an inflammation along the corner of the mouth. This is also called cheilosis, perleche, commissural cheilitis, cheilosis or angular stomatitis. These inflammation is commonly due to dry mouth, nutritional deficiencies, drooling, immunosuppressants and the habit of picking your own lips.
