LG Optimus G E973 Specifications Features Price Reviews Details LG Optimus G Beat E973 Technical Review

LG Optimus G LG Optimus G Beat: LG Optimus G Beat is a High End Android Smartphone by LG belonging to the LG Optimus Series. It was announced in August 2012 and will be commercially available in September. It is Codenamed as LG-F180 for Korean market. LG Optimus G Beat will be supporting 2G and 3G Networks Globally with a Regional 4G LTE Network.

Dimensions & Display: LG Optimus G Beat is 8.5mm think and weighs around 145g. The smartphone features a strong scratch resistant True HD with IPS LCD display that gives you stunning image rendering and clarity in videos. It is also equipped with LG's propriety Optimus UI v3.0 and the display is much better compared to that of rivals and supports 16 million colors. The maximum resolution of the device is 768x1280 which is really impressive  with a pixel per inch density of 318. A display like this one is strong enough to compete with the top class smartphones that are manufactured by Samsung today.
OS & Performance: Optimus G runs on Android's Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4 which is sad as we were expecting LG to add Jellybean instead of ICS. The smartphone is powered with an incredible 1.5GHz quad-core processor that gives much better performance and multitasking compared to the previous devices manufactured by LG. With the powerful quad core processor, comes with a 2GB RAM that goes side by side in racing the device for maximum performance.    It should be enlightened that with such a powerful processor and RAM, users can not only enjoy convenient multitasking and high performance but the entire user experience would be much better with smooth UI and super fast app switching. LG Optimus G is also powered with Adreno 320 GPU that basically helps in rendering high quality graphics on the device. The GPU enhances the user interface by adding more to the images you see and videos you play. This is the very reason why LG's Optimus G is called a True HD phone.   Storage & Memory: Optimus G supports upto 32GB external micro SD card with out compromising the speed and performance of the device. Now you might be wondering why we haven't mentioned the internal storage and that's because there is no official details available from LG as of now and other than those mentioned below. Once the device reaches the market we should be able to provide more details on it and this post will be updated as required. It is however rumored to have 16GB internal storage but those are just rumors.   Camera: LG Optimus G has an amazing 13 mega-pixel camera that has the ability to shoot photos at very high resolution allowing users to capture those unforgettable moments with better clarity. The stunning hi-res camera also supports burst shots so you could take multiple shots at the same time and then chose the best one to keep and delete the remaining. You can also record full HD 1080 videos at 30 frames per second. You can select multiple options like shooting HD videos with LED flash or auto-focus that allows and geo-tagging capabilities. If you are comparing Samsung Galaxy SIII with LG Optimus G, then the latter is undoubtedly the clear winner as Galaxy SIII features an 8 mega pixel camera. Sound: Optimus G features high quality audio filtering service that gives a better quality sound which is best if you use  earphone plugins instead of headphones. The smartphone has a 3.5mm audio jack so if you feel like connecting the device to your home music system, that shouldn't be a problem. To give a better audio quality and music experience, LG has also added Dolby Mobile Sound Enhancement. The phone supports all popular formats of ringtones like MP3 and wave.   Connectivity: When it comes to connectivity, LG Optimus G supports popular 2G and 3G spectrum. Apart from the cellular connectivity, the device can be used for not only connecting wireless networks but it can by itself act as one by sharing the internet data plan with the nearby devices thereby acting as a modem which is popularly known as hotspot. It is also equipped with a GPS so you can travel around the wold without having the worry of getting lost. You can use various navigation apps that are very well trusted for better navigation. LG Optimus G being an android smartphone has better Facebook and twitter integration which keeps getting better with every android update that gets released. A better integration would simply mean more and better sharing of images and videos with your family and loved ones.
