Sony Xperia J Specifications Features Price Details Reviews Sony Xperia J Technical Review

Sony Xperia J Sony Xperia J is an android smartphone falling into the Xperia family code name(ST26i/ST26a). This smarphone is a mid range device. Xperia J was announced in August and will be commercially available by the end of Q4. Being a GSM device, it supports 2G as well as 3G network globally.      Dimensions & Display: Sony Xperia J is 9.2mm think and weighs around 130g (4.6 ounces). Being a mid range device the dimensions and screen size seems pretty good and features a 4" scratch resistant TFT display with 16 million colors. The strong 4 inch screen of xperia J renders a maximum 480x854 display resolution with a pixel per inch density of 245 pixels. For a mid range device like this, such a resolution and image rending is fantastic.   OS & Performance: Xperia J is powered by the most successful and powerful mobile operating system - Android's ice cream sandwich 4.0.4 which is not just the most successful OS but also the most commonly used mobile operating system throughout the world. Sony's Xperia J uses a powerful 1 Gz CPU that works in coordination with the 512 MB RAM giving the users maximum throttle. To give the best image viewing experience, Sony has used a powerful Adreno 200 GPU that not just makes the images crispier and lively but also enhances your viewing experience.    Coming to the storage and memory aspect, Sony Xperia J has a built in flash memory of 4 GB out of which 2GB is available for the user and the remaining is used for system services and core operations. 2GB of internal storage is very less but if you look at the brighter side of it, you can extend the storage using a micro sd card for upto 32GB. You can add all of your favorite tracks and grove in.   Camera : Sony Xperia J is equipped with a fairly good 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and auto focus. The maximum image resolution of the photos clicked using this camera is 2592х1944 pixels. That's more than enough for a mid range device. Xperia J does not have the ability to shoot HD videos and it supports only VGA video recording at 30 frames per second. The rear and and front camera can be used to shoot videos of VGA quality. If you are a user who prefers shooting videos rather than clicking images then its probably not a good call for you to go ahead with this phone. However, if you are comfortable clicking images and not shooting videos then there are some cool features like: Geotagging Self-timer Touch focus Image stabilizer VGA video recording 4x digital zoom Sound Sony has brought a musical revolution in the industry and it has been associated with the music industry since long. Sony Xperia J is powered with many tools that enhance your music listening experience by giving you the best quality and effects that you cannot find in any other smatphones. Xperia J uses the xLoud - which is an audio filtering technology and a propriety of Sony. The predominant Walkman has been favorite for many and people still love to experience walkman in their smartphones today. It also gives you the option of clear stereo that enhances the music listening experience.
It is tough to compare the sound quality of Sony against any other device manufacturers as sony is not just the best in making quality sound systems but it also has a fair experience in the electronic media and music so it has pretty good knowledge of how to make users grove into the music player by adding various features likemanual equalizer, so if you are an expert in playing with the music then you can manually override the default sound settings of a track and make it jazzy or acoustic or use the powerful bass. With such quality features and get along ear plugins, you can enjoy the music listening experience on Sony Xperia J. Connectivity: Sony Xperia J has better connectivity options that gives you more from your device like WiFi and WiFi hotspot functionality allowing you to not just connect to wireless networks but also become a host and share your internet plan with others making your Xperia J as a wireless modem. Apart WiFi, the smartphone has a built in GPS that allows you to navigate quickly and easily using navigation apps like Navigon or Mobile Maps. Sony Xperia J supports USB tethering allowing you to use your data plan by sharing it with a computer via USB. If you are a strong twitter user that this should bring you joys that Xperia J has twitter integration that makes it easier to share photos and post tweets more easily than ever.   Battery Life, Colors & Price Xperia J's battery life seems better than its successors giving more talk time on 3G as well as 2G networks with a back up of over 5 hours on 3G network and over 7 hours on 2G. The battery has been significantly improved to give a better back up as it has always been a problem for smartphones that they run out of battery. However if you compare the battery of Xperia J with that of Motorola's Razr, that does not make any sense as you need to compare two like wise devices.  Sony has added a new color to the set of known colors for its Xperia J. Apart from black, white, pink, a new color - Gold has been added and it looks impressive. The phone is said to have a price tag of 16 Euros that would be no much for a device with such features and large screen.

App indexing in Google Search is live, and it's spectacular | Android Discussions | Scoop.it
Google Play news never quite seems to get the love it deserves at Google I/O keynotes, but there was one nugget of news I was pretty stoked to see yesterday. App indexing, previously available to a select few, is now available for anyone who wants it. Here's how it works: You'll add a little extra code in your app to tell it how to handle all this stuff, and then you add deep links to...

Samsung is throwing a press event on May 28 in San Francisco to talk about health, but it won't be launching any new products there. Speaking to Re/code, Samsung's Stefan Heuser, confirmed that this is the case. Heuser didn't give any clues as to what will actually be discussed in San Francisco.
