Google Samsung Unite To Fight Against Apple's Patents - War Of Patents | Geeky Android - News, Tutorials, Guides, Reviews On Android | Android Discussions | Scoop.it
Google and Samsung unite to fight against apple's patents Samsung unites with Google to take on Apple in its patent wars Google and samsung working together to deal with apple patents...

Recently we have seen Apple bringing Samsung into the courts of law for patents violation. As if this was not enough, Apple event caused Samsung a huge loss by imposing a ban on Samsung Galaxy Tab sales in the United States. Apple is also rumored to be working on how to ban Samsung Galaxy SIII which according to Apple is violation of Apple's Siri patents of voice assistant (artificial intelligence). Although Samsung tried to fight back against Apple by filing an appeal in the court against the injunction of Samsung Galaxy Tab, their appeal was blatantly rejected with the statement - Although Samsung has a right to compete, it does not have a right to compete unfairly, by flooding the market with infringing products

Samsung's please has been responded by Google and apparently both the companies are uniting to fight against Apple in its patent wars. Apple is known for dragging companies to the court for settlement of patents and the outcome is never done in terms of money but completely banning of the infringing product. If this continues, Samsung will soon have to stop its sale in the United States because of Apple's patents. According to Apple, “It’s no coincidence that Samsung’s latest products look a lot like the iPhone and iPad, from the shape of the hardware to the user interface and even the packaging. This kind of blatant copying is wrong and, as we've said many times before, we need to protect Apple’s intellectual property when companies steal our ideas."
With a reprimand, Apple is definitely after Samsung and it is not going to stop until Samsung stops copying its patents. Let's see what Samsung and Google united can do to avoid Apple's patent stashes. There is one thing for sure, with Samsung teaming up and uniting with Google, there is definitely some change and twist that we are going to see in near future.

Jellybean was announced during the Google I/O which happened last week between June 27-30 where the future of Android was discussed. Google is pretty confident about the growth and success of Android in Future. According to Google the day will soon comes when Android will be the only mobile operating platform available for the devices. Google introduced the much hyped Google Glasses that are revolutionary. Google has also announced a 7 inch Nexus 7 tablet that will be competing directly with Amazon's Kindle Fire. Finally an update to Android ICS was also released. The successor of Ice Cream Sandwich, Jelly Bean  with improved UI and major updates was released. Jellybean will be available for all ICS supported devices starting October but we are already seeing leaked roms for Galaxy Nexus and Acer's Iconia. The features of Jelly Bean like the Google Ears has already been ported to ICS and it works like a charm. Google's new service, Sound search is similar to SoundHound or Shazam which allows you to get details about a song after listening to samples. In Jelly bean you can add Google Ears widgets on your home screen that come handy when you are listening to music and want to get more details about the song.  The Good News is that if you have a Android smartphone or tablet running ICS, you can also install the free Google ears service that has been ripped from Jellybean. You don't need to worry about the compatibility issues because, the developers have already compiled it in an .apk file so all you need to do is to install the apk file and there you go. As simple as that.
